Adrianne Court – Revolutionizing Human Resources and Cultivating Corporate Conscious Cultures
Human resource (HR) management is a critical function in every organization, regardless of size, nature, and industry. HR activities traditionally encompass activities related to employee lifecycle management, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and offboarding. However, the profession evolved into a complex process and function comprising several other activities related to employment policies, laws, benefits, payroll management, employee grievances, and personnel strategy. The HR function evolved rapidly in recent years to cater to the changing corporate needs and issues related to personnel management. HR professionals must possess several skills to mitigate risks while catering to organizational personnel requirements. They must recognize gaps in needs and recruitment, ensure smooth transitions in various HR phases, and thoroughly understand labor laws and regulations. HR professionals and leaders must also nurture and cultivate a conducive, open, collaborative corporate culture fostering employee engagement.
